1: -Tripoli
Meet quide on
arrival at Tripoli and transfer the hotel overlooking the
Mediterranean , dinner and overnight at hotel

2: Tripoli - Leptis Magna - Sirt (490 Km)

After breakfast,
departure for Leptis Magna a city built by Fenici which reached its
height under the dominance of Rome, becoming one of the most
beautiful cities of Ancient Rome facing the Mediterranean Sea. Visit
to the splendid ruins such as the Arch of Seedtimes Severs, The
Forum, The Theatre and The gladiatorial Arena. Lunch in a local
restaurant near to the excavations. Along the coast arrival to Sirt
in the late evening. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

3: Sirt - Benghazi (660 Km)
After breakfast,
transfer to Benghazi by the coastal road that runs along the Gulf of
Sirt. Picnic lunch. Evening arrival in Benghazi. Dinner and
overnight in hotel.

4: Benghazi - Tocra - Tolmeita - Al Bayda (270 Km)
Breakfast in hotel.
Excursion to the Greek cities, Tocra (one of the port of Cyrenaica)
and Tolmeita (ancient Tolemaide that covers a large area from whome
only a small part has been discovered yet). You will visit: The
great Aqueduct, The Door of Tokeira, the Necropolis and The Museum
where you will find an interesting collection of statues and
mosaics. Picnic lunch near the excavations. Onto Al Bayda. Dinner
and overnight in hotel.

5: Al Bayda - Cyrene - Apollonia - Benghazi (320 Km)
After breakfast,
departure to Cyrene. Ancient capital of Cyrenaica, it rises on a
hill with a splendid view on the sea. The impressive excavations and
the archaeological founds, allow us to imagine how the most
important Grecian city on the African coast looked like. Descending
to the sea arrival at the ancient port of Cirene: Apolloinia, whose
excavations between the sea and the hills make the visit very
exiting. Picnic lunch. Return in the evening to Benghazi. Dinner and
overnight in hotel.

6: Benghazi - Sirt (660 Km)
After breakfast
departure to Sirt following the coastal road that runs along the
Gulf of Sirt. Picnic lunch on the way. Evening arrvial to Sirt.
Dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

7: Sirt - Misurata - Tripoli (490 Km)

After breakfast
departure to Tripoli. Lunch at Misurata. Arrival in the afternoon at
Tripoli. Accommodation in hotel. Traditional dinner in a typical
restaurant.

8: Tripoli - Ghadames (670 Km)
After breakfast,
departure through the arid regions of the Libyan plateau to the
desert border, where there is the Ghadames Oasis. Stop at Gasr el
Haj and lunch at Sinaun or at Nalut in atypical restaurant. Arrival
in the late afternoon at Ghadames. Dinner with traditional live
music show and overnight in hotel.

9: Ghadames
Breakfast in hotel.
Full day tour of the ancient city and the Oasis. Ghadames "The
Desert Pearl" known since Roman times (was the most southern point
of the Empire), for its famous architecture, typical of this area of
the Sahara. Ancient "port of call" for all the caravans coming from
Central Africa it is also the doorway to the Saharan Desert. Lunch
in a traditional restaurant. Dinner on the sand around a campfire
with Tuareg' music and dances. Overnight in hotel.

10: Ghadames -Tripoli (670 Km)

Breakfast. Morning
tour to complete the visit of Ghadames, the museum and lake Ain
Mujsin. Picnic on the way back to Tripoli. Dinner and overnight in
hotel.

11: Tripoli
After breakfast,
full day tour of Tripoli. You will admire the old city with The
Medina, The Souk, The Arch of Marco Aurelio and The Arab Castle
"Assai Al - Hamra". The castle is actually the sight of the National
Museum; which conserves the biggest part of the archaeological
artefacts found in Libya from prehistoric times to our days,
including the Greek and Roman periods. Here you can admire one of
the most beautiful classical art exhibition in the Mediterranean.
Lunch in restaurants. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

12: Tripoli - /AIREPORT
Transfer to the
Airport to fly home. 30 km.
